You will have a brief physical examination, as well as talking about cannabis as a treatment option. Feel free to discuss any concerns you may have during your medical marijuana evaluation, such as ingestion alternatives to smoking. • Two original physician’s-signed recommendations for law enforcement inquiries. This is a security-enhanced document that you must keep with you if you possess any amount of medicinal cannabis or paraphernalia with cannabis residue present. We offer a second complimentary original document to keep safe in a separate location.
• Information on California’s Prop 215 and Senate Bill 420, so you understand your rights as a patient. We also offer “best practices” to avoid breaking California laws, awareness of when Federal Law may apply, and to help avoid conflict or misunderstandings with Law Enforcement Officers.
• Information on the State Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC): What this voluntary program offers, along with how and where to obtain a MMIC card.
• Patient I.D. Center introduction to the benefits of being a member and an explanation on how to obtain a private I.D. Card.
